The rooms are compact, yet comfortable.  Room features include: garden view, air conditioning, cooling fan, small private bathroom, mini fridge, electronic safe in-room. There are 2 bungalows with a Queen bed for double occupancy, and the remainder have 1 twin bed for solo occupancy. Please indicate your preference upon booking.

Yoga Cave:

Bridging the gap between a hotel room and an authentic Thai experience,  the Yoga Caves are small but very comfortable rooms that offer sweeping views over the sea and rocks below. Relax on your comfy bed facing out over the ocean and take in one of the best panoramas on Koh Samui. Modest in terms of size, the air-conditioned Yoga Caves offer a quiet, personal place to stay for individual travelers. The yoga caves do not have bathrooms en-suite. There is a large shared and public restroom and shower facility located just behind the block of Yoga Caves. The showers have hot water and shampoo provided. Features: twin bed, air conditioning, shared bath, free wifi

Beach Bungalow Superior:

The Superior Beach Bungalows bring guests close to Nature while providing every convenience. The rooms are modest and rustic, yet clean and comfortable. They are a more removed from the rest of the rooms and the yoga studio, but provide direct beach access. They have balconies with beautiful,  unobstructed sea views.  It’s a truly unique waterfront living experience. Features: private beach, sea views, air conditioning, bathroom/shower, private balcony, mini fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, electronic safe, free wifi. Quests can choose a King size bed or 2 twins. Please indicate your preference upon booking.

Standard Ocean Rooms:
'The Standard Ocean Rooms offer every convenience. Rest and recharge in a king-sized bed (or request two twins) and awaken to a sea view that will energize you for the day ahead. Step out onto your private balcony to enjoy the fresh island air, relax and read a book or meditate and feel at one with the natural surroundings. A stay in one of the Ocean Rooms is restful, relaxing and inspiring. FAQ:
Q: Airfare and transportation is not included, what is the best way to the retreat center?

A:  The best bet is to fly into Bangkok or Hong Kong. We’d recommend searching out of JFK or Newark if you are looking for cheaper fare, but there are flights right of Philly for the utmost convenience.  From Bangkok or Hong Kong, you will need to fly to Koh Samui International Airport (Check out Bangkok Air or Thai Airlines). The resort is located 20 minutes from the airport.  You can take a taxi, or we can arrange a pickup for you! You should schedule your airfare to arrive on Saturday the 10th.  Yoga will begin on Sunday!

Q: I can’t find a flight plan within my budget. Any other suggestions?

A: Alternatively, there’s an option to fly cheaper with AirAsia from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore to Suratthani International Airport located on the mainland. From there, you will need to take a bus to Donsak pier, then a ferry or speedboat to Koh Samui, and finally a taxi to Vikasa. This is a longer trek, but might be a great budget option.

Q: Is there an option to extend my stay at Vikasa?

A: Yes! Since you’re traveling halfway across the globe, we totally understand that you may want to stay longer than 7 nights.  We can help facilitate any requests to extend your stay at Vikasa. We also suggest spending a few nights in Bangkok or any of the other wonders of Southest Asia. Maybe you’ll even stop somewhere in Europe on your way over. This is a once and a lifetime opportunity to create your own adventure!

Q: What does a typical day look like?

A:
7:30-9AM: Morning Yoga Session
9:00-10:00AM: Breakfast Available
10:00-12:00PM: Free Time (Beach, Pool, Surf, Take a Trip, Hike, Etc)
12:00-2:00PM: Lunch Available (Grab and Go as you wish!)
After Lunch: More Free Time (Do you!)
5:00-6:30PM: Evening Yoga
7:00PM: Group Dinner

Of course, this is just a sample of the schedule and meals we will provide, but ultimately, this is your experience and your vacation.  We provide the framework, you decide what fits into your day.  All events and offerings are 100% optional.

Q: What if I don’t have a roommate,but am interested in a double room?

It’s ALL good. We will pair you up with someone.  You can bet that if they’re coming on a yoga retreat like you, they are equally awesome.
